A study published in Medicine and Science in Sports and Exercise found that while vitamin K2 supplementation increased circulating MK-7 levels in both young and older adults, it did not significantly enhance muscle strength, physical function, or reduce muscle soreness during recovery. However, it did show some interactions related to muscle response, particularly in older adults, suggesting that vitamin K2 may have effects worth considering in your nutrition plan.
